How is the Economy Affecting the Seniors in Your Life? – The Petition Site

C.C. AND for Persons with Disabilities

Take Action! Please Sign. Then please continue to forward on to all of your family, friends, colleagues, communities, and social networks. Thanks!

More than 13 million seniors AND disabled are economically insecure. These older adults have to decide each day whether to pay for medicine, food, rent, or utilities. They live one missed rent check, or one health problem away from financial insecurity.

We need to make sure Congress pays close attention to the welfare of our Older AND Disabled Americans. How has this economic crisis affected the seniors and disabled in your life?

Please tell Congress what economic struggle looks like for the seniors in your life by filling in the box on the right of this screen. Your personal stories will send a powerful message to Congress that they need to do what they can to ensure economic security for seniors and disabled.

Sincerely,
Edward Janus | Disability Advocate and Activist

Edward, I have written and emailed, called and sendt petitions. I am no longer begging Congress to do anythying fro Paratrabist riedsr and other perosns who are disablde. I amn focused on paratrnist righst and Declaring our freedom from Transit Eugenics. We are going to DC with or without the CILS, activists and advoactes ho need to rally by our side. Our paratrnist needs are basic to our ability to live with greater independence through mobility7 that works for each individual. PWDS are not generic. WE are ecxah individual and unique yet united in a common brotherhood and sisterhood of national and international values.

Someone has spread false rumors that we (IMPRUVE) were out of existence even though we give fundraisers, have a presence on the Internet, went to Detroit for USSF2010, and told everyone we are going to DC May 23-27, 2011. (I know who it is, but it’s okay–I am too focused on moving forward to chastise or get angry with this person.) This person cannot stop our work or take anything away from us. We don’t own any people and have no monopoly on disability organizing. We need every PWD, supporter, civil rights advocate, and humanitarian to go with us, fund our movement, and spread it who is interested.
